The Penguin Episode 4: "Cent'anni" Review

Cristin Milioti is by far one of the best things about this show thus far. Four episodes in and I want to see more from her in the near future. This is a flashback episode that shows Sofia Falcone's life before and during her time in Arkham Asylum. Cristin Milioti does an excellent job at portraying the “sweet and innocent” daughter of Carmine Falcone and the “crazed inmate” really well.

This episode just made me feel even more empathy for Sofia Falcone considering everyone gaslighted her into thinking she was a crazed, killer. In episode 2 I said that I wanted more backstory on Sofia Falcone and her time in Arkham Asylum. Not only did it not disappoint but I feel like she came out of Arkham Asylum worse than she went in.

Not only is this the best episode of series thus far but it humanizes Sofia Falcone. She is mentally scared for life because she found out her father was a killer. Sofia didn't go into Arkham as a monster or being mentally ill, but after what they put her through no wonder she has PTSD. This is a phenomenal episode and Cristin Milioti is a phenomenal actress.
