Agatha All Along E1-2 Review
Travel with me down down down the road…down the witches road with Agatha Harkness, her witchy enough coven, and a teen. Now could this teen be Billy Maximoff, or Nicky (Agatha’s son) or someone else. What lies at the end of witches road or who. So many questions going into this show, and past episode 2. Leaving me wanting more. From the first minute I was hooked. If you want to get into the spooky season, this is a perfect fit for you.
Story starts off with a Mare of Easttown nod and the lead character Agnes who is investigating a mysterious death of a red head. But, who is she and could this very well be Wanda Maximoff. Call me delusional but I refuse to buy it is our main 616 Wanda. I personally think it is the suburban life Wanda from Multiverse of Madness. Regardless, Agnes is without her magic and is living life as a detective.
Once this red head shows up dead, a mysterious figure known as teen, and Rio (Aubrey Plaza) shows up. They cleverly break her free from the spell, Wanda had her under for 3 years. Once free and she discovers she is powerless and is angry and ready for revenge. But without her powers, she is forced to walk the road again. But with the help of a newly created coven, a teen, Mrs. Hart, and a killer musical number. This mother fest, was visually stunning, with great character development thus far. I am looking forward to the rest of the show, and hope at the end of the witches road, Wanda will be. This song has been stuck in my mind all week, and I love how the whole town was committed to the bit of making sure Agatha stayed in this state.
Overall 5/5
