Absolute Superman #2 Review

Absolute Superman picks up where the previous edition left off with Superman being detained by Lois Lane under the authority of the Lazarus Corp. Superman doesn't abide by the rules and because of his distrust of thr Lazarus Corp he flees with Lois Lane still being handcuffed to him. A slight addition to Superman's abilities that I really enjoyed is watching Superman defend himself and even other people with his cape. The cape feels like a character in it's own right because whenever Superman is in danger the cape acts as a defense shield. Even Superman's suit is A.I. generated and communicates his thoughts to Superman which I think is really cool.

No spoilers but we do find out who Lois is working for and it isn't Lex Luthor. After Lois finds common ground with Superman and learns that he might not be a threat to humanity, her boss assumes otherwise. As far as what I think will happen next, I'm not too sure. Lois is going to try to convince people that Superman actually does have good intentions and isn't a threat to humanity and her boss, (no names because it's major Superman villain) is probably to make Lois prove her loyalty to him.

Rating: 3/5
